Co-founders Tricia Bobeda and Joel Meyer formed POD MTN in 2021. Since then, we’ve worked as consultants, editors and producers for film and television studios, podcast companies and public media organizations.
POD MTN clients benefit from our collective 30 years of experience as executive producers, editors and hosts at the country’s most innovative audio companies. We’ve worked at every level on hit shows, from ideation and audience development to piloting and production.

Tricia Bobeda
As a very queer, mostly Puerto Rican millennial, Tricia has always been drawn to stories of people who don’t quite fit in. Tricia has worked with Pushkin Industries, Audible, Fresh Produce Media, WBEZ Chicago, KUER (NPR Utah), and Freakonomics. She was co-founder and co-host of WBEZ’s Nerdette and its spinoff series, Nerdette Recaps Game of Thrones with Peter Sagal. Tricia’s roles have ranged from reporting, producing and editing across mediums to strategic leadership and audience development roles. They have also been heard on NPR. LinkedIn

Joel Meyer
Joel has developed podcasts and talk shows for WNYC Studios, Pushkin Industries, WBEZ Chicago, Slate, Audible and Freakonomics. His credits include acclaimed documentaries (Making Oprah), a chart-topping soap opera about soccer (American Fiasco) and the story of a track and field team that shocked the world (Legacy of Speed). A podcast and broadcast veteran, Joel has led content teams inside a wide variety of organizations. He hopes those skills will help him someday manage the Minnesota Twins to a world championship.
